J-SLA Selected Papers
J-SLA Selected Papers
J-SLA has established a “J-SLA Selected Papers” section to publish short papers based on research presented at the Annual Conference and the Autumn Conference. This section appears as a conference-based selected papers section within the website of J-SLA. Please refer to J-SLA Selected Papers Submission Guidelines for details.
All presentations delivered at the current or previous year’s J-SLA International Conference or Autumn Conference are eligible. Eligibility to submit remains valid for two years after the conference (at the time of first submission). Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis. There is no fixed deadline.
A short paper based on the conference presentation (maximum 12 pages, following the template).
Reasonable revisions are permitted in light of questions and discussion at the conference or subsequent research developments.
After publication in this section, authors are encouraged to develop the work further and submit it as a full article.
The conference presenter must be included as an author unless there is a clear and justified reason otherwise.
The addition of co-authors is permitted only where there is a valid research-ethical justification.
All submissions are peer-reviewed by the Editorial Board.
Decisions are categorised as “Accept”, “Accept with Conditions”, or “Reject”.
Evaluation follows criteria consistent with those used in the conference review process and is based on an overall assessment.
When citing the work or listing it as an academic publication, please include the section title:
Author, A. (20XX). Title of paper. Selected Papers from J-SLA Conference, 1. xxx-xxx (page number).
We welcome your submissions. This section provides an opportunity to develop your conference presentation into a peer-reviewed publication.
