Call for Papers: Second Language

Submission Guildelines:

Send your manuscript to:

Second Language Editorial Office (journal[@]j-sla.org

When submitting your paper, please fill out the required fields in the "Submission Checklist" and attach it along with your manuscript.

There is no specific deadline for manuscript submission. If your manuscript is submitted before September 30, (and is accepted for publication after the review process), it will normally appear in the issue published in the following academic year. Submissions that are received after September 30 could be assigned to a later issue (if accepted for publication). The review process takes approximately three months after the submission.


Evaluation:

The evaluation criteria are based on the following criteria:

a. Relevance to the journal’s objectives

b. Significance and importance of the research

c. Clarity of logic and structure

d. Validity of results and interpretations

The specific standards for each criterion and the overall evaluation are as follows. 

4 points: The manuscript is excellent and meets all the evaluation criteria with no significant issues.

3 points: The manuscript is generally good but may require minor revisions for clarity or detail.

2 points: The manuscript requires substantive revisions, including content-related changes, but has the potential to be improved.

1 point: The manuscript contains numerous significant issues, such as factual errors or logical inconsistencies, and requires substantial revisions.

0 points: The manuscript is not suitable for publication.
